The students and staff of FMS participated in a hallway decorating contest during the month of December. The activity was held to bring all of FMS together, with each hallway having their own theme to work around.
A collaborative effort between students and staff to decorate each hallway in different themes is the core of this event, not to mention the actual contest part of it. The judging of the event happened on December 19th, with the winning hallway getting icepops.
Some of the themes of the hallways include: Yeti Disco, Gingerbread Express, Polar Express, and the Twelve days of Christmas, and more.
The hallways that participated include the 6th grade hallway, 7th grade hallway, 8th grade hallway, the New Wing hallway, Gym hallway, Cafeteria Hallway, and Art hallway.
The themes of all the halls were decided by the staff members.
After a month of nonstop decorating, the 7th grade hallway ended up winning with their theme of Yeti Disco.
