Summer Fest is a schoolwide event for the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Fords Middle School. Summer Fest is an exclusive student event during the school day scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Summer Fest includes fun and exciting activities like a bouncy house, a cookie decorating room, video games, and more. What an amazing day to let students take a break.
First up, the cookie decorating room, where you can show off your skills of making delicious cookies. You can also eat them along the way to other places.
Next up are the video games, where you can play various games like Smash Bros and The Simpsons. There is also Street Fighter 2 and many more.
Then there is the bouncy house, where you can enjoy passing through obstacles and ending up in a giant slide. This is the best one in our opinion.
Next up in line are the bracelet making rooms, black light painting, face painting, tattoos, and slime making, where you can show off your amazing creativity to others and show off your talents. Perfect for boredom!
Speaking of boredom, there is a calm room where you can listen to relaxing music and participate in calming activities, perfect for basic introverts and for relaxation. There is also a movie room, where students can enjoy a break from the fun to relax.
In the gym, there will be basketball and volleyball games where students can compete against each other. Soccer will be offered outside for those who want to get some fresh air and exercise.
In the hallways, there will be guessing games where students can make their best guesses to win candy.
Carnival games will also be included so that students can get the thrill of a traditional carnival right here at FMS!
There will also be a photo booth, where students can capture memories of this fun day to cherish forever!
For snacks, there will be an ice cream truck, lemonade stand, and pretzels and water that students can enjoy.
If you are in Fords Middle School right now, then Summer Fest will be exciting for you guys!
In addition to Summer Fest, the FMS community and PTO also hold other seasonal gatherings throughout the year, like Fall Fest, the Color Run, and school dances.
