This 2025 NFL offseason was like a roller coaster of emotions. Players such as superstars and veterans are all involved with the trades. The official start of the trades in the offseason started from March to June. These players didn’t just get traded; they were traded for reasons such as personal, contract, or financial gain.
Kicking off the offseason with a huge trade, the 49ers traded their WR1, Deebo Samuel, to Washington to potentially upgrade that WR room. Fellow classmate, Eman, says the trade on Deebo Samuel is “a good trade, but look at Deebo’s physique, it’s heavy, and they have him on a TE position on his weight, he is a whooping 215 pounds.”
In the South, Dallas makes a trade for GP, or George Pickens, from Pittsburgh. Dallas acquired a talented young star who could boost their receiving corps.
The Las Vegas Raiders acquire Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks, receiving a veteran quarterback who can lead their offense and improve their draft strategy with the trade.
Another trade with the Steelers is D.K. Metcalf from Seattle. They added a strong receiving WR, possibly affecting their draft system. Aiden, another FMS football fan, said that Metcalf was “a crazy trade, but he was like an outsider and wasn’t getting the ball a lot and wanted to get traded to a team with potential to make the Super Bowl.”
The other half of the offseason was that the Jets give away their WR1 to the Rams. Rams boost their WR room.
Philli trade QB2 Kenny Picket to the Browns. Browns have a full line up of QB for their chemistry and backups.
Eagles trade their Safety C.J Gardner Johnson to Texas. Their defense gets a major upgrade and defense is more efficient.
Jags trade Christian Kirk to Texas. Texas full line up is now upgraded to the max and might be a contender for the Superbowl.
