On October 21, 2024, YouTube stars Sam & Colby started their annual haunted week at Farrar Elementary School. Sam & Colby spend a week dedicated to investigating one haunted place. They talk to spirits and find out why the place is spiritually active.
During this week, they go to Farrar Elementary School and they invite others to investigate with them. In part one, accompanied by Exploringwithjosh, they mostly just explore the school and briefly describe or explain the spirits and the school’s history. After they explore and explain during the day, Sam and Colby go to sleep, with Exploringwithjosh leaving.
In part two, they are accompanied by YouTubers The Sturniolo Triplets. They mostly investigate the hauntings of the school gym and towards the end, they split up and go into different classrooms of the school. They first play a game of basketball in the school gym to lighten the mood and make it less scary for everyone when talking to the spirits. Then, Sam and Colby set up a tracer, which detects movement and traces a spirit’s or object’s path by lighting up wherever the movement was detected on the device. They also set up a “Spirit Box” which detects words through radio frequencies, so if a spirit or entity talks, it can pick it up on the box.
They got various words from the spirit box and some movement from the tracer and then they moved on. The next investigation they did was the “Estes Method”, which is when someone is blindfolded with a radio that has headphones plugged into it. The person doing the Estes Method cannot see or hear anything other than what’s happening on the radio. The radio detects words through radio frequencies, like the spirit box. When the person doing the method hears a word, sentence, phrase, etc., they say it out loud so the others can hear. After the Estes Method, they all split up into different classrooms each with different equipment. After that, the Sturniolo triplets leave and Sam and Colby choose out of a hat where to sleep. They each split up to sleep where they chose and that’s the end of part two.
In part three, Sam and Colby are accompanied by YouTubers Celinaspookyboo and KallmeKris. At the start of part three, they split up into pairs, Celina with Kris, and Sam with Colby. They walk around the school and attempt to talk to spirits, and mess around a little. After that, they have a “Ghost Prom” inviting all spirits to the gym, where they play music, dress up, and dance. They do this to lighten the mood and have a good relationship with the spirits. After that, Celina, who is empathic and very spiritual, goes into one of her trances where she can picture stuff that happened in the place where she is. They get some good and bad information and eventually have to tap her out of it. After Celina’s trance, they go into the closet where Celina saw some bad things happening and did the Estes Method on Kris. They found out some interesting things about the school and the spirits or entities haunting it.
The next day in part three, they are accompanied by Pythian Priestess or Ashley. The first thing they do is that Ashley reads them tarot cards and Sam and Colby ask questions and the spirits give them the answers through cards and Ashley reads them. They get some good answers and some bad answers through the cards, telling them how the spirits feel about them being there. The next thing they do is an Ouija Board “ritual”. Ashley sets a “spell” to keep the spirits from harming Sam and Colby and to make sure they get responses and use the Ouija Board the right way. They ask questions and get real answers. After the session, Sam gives Colby the challenge he wrote for him, which is to go into the boiler room (worst room) alone tied to a chair in the dark with just the camera. Fans suspect that Colby got possessed because in a clip, he turns his head to the side and smiles but it doesn’t look like his normal smile. After that, Ashley cleanses Sam and Colby of any negative energy and they leave with information they wanted and some they didn’t want.
In all, Sam and Colby had a pretty interesting and dark week containing a lot of interesting information about Farrar Elementary School.
