Near the end of the amazing year of 2024, we saw some VERY suspicious drones in NJ. Throughout November, December, and even into the new year, drones were creating anxiety and panic from concerned citizens who just wanted answers. Dozens of drones could be seen flying low in the sky, hovering for hours over neighborhoods, airports, municipal areas, and even military bases.
People were coming up with all types of theories about where the drones were coming from and why they were being spotted in so many areas across the state, but for months, state and federal officials had zero answers.
Finally, at the end of January 2025, the White House provided minimal information, saying that the drones were authorized by the Federal Aviation Agency and that the public had no need to be alarmed.
Kiara A, who had first-hand experience with a drone, said, “I was driving on the street, with my mom, when I saw a huge figure fly across the sky, with a big bright light. Me and my mom thought it was a huge airplane until it started coming lower. It had 4 propellers, and it was as big as my car.”
Kendal M commented on some of the theories, saying, “I know that the drones are flying over the roads and people’s houses and it is making people suspicious and scared, and people are creating theories that they are spying on us, and are from other countries.”
With a lack of any real answers from officials, people were making up theories, and they’ve been doing it FAST. I think the most outrageous one is the theory that the drones were sent from underground civilizations.
People are losing interest in this topic, and sightings have been down in recent weeks. President Trump has said that our former president, President Biden, has more knowledge than he lets on. Kendal also added, “I know many articles have been made about it, and even though it is not as popular anymore, theories are still flying around.” We still don’t know exactly what’s going on, but maybe more information will eventually be provided.
