Throughout 2024, there have been lots of movies that have come out, and more are still being released. Most of these movies have become huge successes, while some haven’t done too well.
In the summer of 2024, lots of movies came out that ended up being big hits. One of the biggest movies that came out during the summer, Inside Out 2, made over 1 billion dollars in less than five months. Another movie that came out in the summer that became a huge success would be Beetlejuice Beetlejuice or Beetlejuice 2 that made about 442 million dollars. These two movies are both in the top 10 movies so far of 2024.
There will be more hits coming out even thought its almost the end of the year. A movie that a lot of people are expecting to be great is Moana 2. Moana 2 is a sequel to the movie Moana that came out all the way back in 2015. So far, what lots of people know about Moana is that it’s coming out just in time for Thanksgiving. “I know that Moana has a little sister and that she reunites with Maui and they see the coconuts again,” my little sister Noriah said.
Some of the movies became really popular as soon as they were announced, including Inside Out 2 and Mean Girls: The Musical, with other upcoming releases also making a big hype. “I know that two new Disney movies are coming out and they are Mufasa and Moana 2,” Nevaeh in 7th grade mentioned.
