The white stripes represent the victory and peace after gaining independence. Finally, the white star represents the Island of Puerto Rico.
Some popular dishes in Puerto Rico are mofongo, arroz con gandules, and tostones. Two famous Puerto Rican singers are Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee. The main sport is baseball.
The official languages are Spanish and English. The weather is mostly tropical, so there are typically a lot of sunny, hot, and humid days year round. There are also many beaches you can go to that are very nice and calm.
The capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan, is known for the site of the first battle of the Katipunan. In San Juan, there are many places to visit such as shops and historical sites.
The national animal is a small tree frog which is called a coqui. Choruses of male coquis can be heard from dusk until dawn all over the island.
Puerto Rico is a beautiful island and in my opinion worth going to at least once.
