The Jersey Shore, or the beach, is a place with the calming sound of waves crashing, seagulls soaring through the sky, laying in the sand, a beautiful breeze, smelling the salty ocean, and seeing the shimmering ocean is the beach’s atmosphere.
In the summer, people don’t have many things going on; school is out and some activities aren’t going on. People are available, making the beach a common place to go to. Due to this, crowds will start to form making it very difficult to get a spot. Everyone is trying to have a good time, but it can make it hard if you’re trying to relax, especially when there’s sand getting thrown around, screaming, unexpected weather changes, hearing lifeguards’ whistles, and people blasting music.
Anyone can go to the beach at any time, no matter what season. Some may think it’s pointless to go when it isn’t warm. It will still be as relaxing or more relaxing as summer though. Just make sure you wear a winter coat because in the winter, it can get 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit. January is the coldest month to go to the beach, when the highs are in low 40s and lows in the upper 20s to low 30s.
However there are good and bad times to go down the shore. If you want to relax, the morning is one of the best times to go because there’s not extremely hot weather and the crowds haven’t started to form. September is one of the best months to go because the water is still warm enough for swimming and you can get good spots close to the water or wherever you’d like. Spring is also a good time to go even if you don’t go in the water. The temperature is enjoyable.
The shore is always a relaxing place in summer when the weather is nice and water is refreshing. Many people love going down the shore. Down the Jersey Shore, there are over 60 beaches; some consist of Point Pleasant, Wildwood, Seaside Heights, Cape May, Sandy Hook, and Ortley Beach.
No matter when you decide to go down the relaxing Jersey Shore, it will always be a calming and peaceful place to go to even when it is not the summer time.
