That means it was only 32 days into New Jersey being founded when they founded Jersey City!
Did you know that the capital of New Jersey is Trenton? New Jersey’s population is 9.5 million, which is 0.12% of the world population! The biggest city is Newark, which also has one of the state’s airports.
New Jersey was the first state to sign the Bill of Rights. It was also known as the “Pathway of the Revolution” because over 100 battles were fought during the American war for independence.
