On January 20, 2025 at 7:30PM EST at Mercedes – Benz Stadium in Georgia, players and coaches from both Notre Dame and Ohio State were competing in the National College Football Championship.
There is always a college football championship every year. Recent winners include Michigan, who won last year, and Georgia, who won in 2023.
Ohio State won the 2025 College Football Championship against Notre Dame 34 – 23. This was the first time that Ohio State won the NCAA College Football Championship since 2014, a bit over 10 years ago, but the last time Notre Dame won was 1998.
There were about 22.1 million viewers watching the game, one of the people being LeBron James who was at the game supporting Ohio State.
The teams that made it to the playoffs were Oregon, Georgia, Boise State, Arizona State, Texas, Penn State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, SMU, Indiana, and Clemson.
Coach A, also known as Mr. A, wanted to say something about the NCAA College Football Championship. While he didn’t have too much to say, he did add, “ It was a fun and good game.” He was a little busy at the time, but I’m glad he liked the game.
I also interviewed Hansel C and he said, “I think that the College Football Championship was good because I really love football and I like both teams, Ohio State and Notre Dame.” Some great feedback from Hansel and it looks like both him and Coach A liked the game.
