Many clubs around Europe have signed players for their squads during the January transfer window. They have done this to grasp the opportunity to improve their team with insane players such as Vitor Reis to Manchester City, Kvaratskhelia to PSG, and more.
Manchester City have signed 3 new players for their team so far this transfer window. Adukodir Khusanov has made his way from RC Lens to Manchester City for 4 years with a cost of 41.5 million dollars. Vitor Reis from Palmeiras went to Manchester City on a 4 year contract for 36 million dollars. Lastly, Omar Marmoush for 4 years on a 72.6 million dollar contract.
Manchester City fan Rehan K loved the transfers and shared his opinion about them. “I feel that the Manchester City new signings with the 2 center-backs and the striker is really beneficial because the defense and the striker were probably the biggest problems. The striker had 24 goal contributions in 17 matches, which is unreal. Since our striker plays lots of minutes, it balances it out. I hope the new signings play well and that they play against Chelsea tomorrow.” To wrap up, there’s also Manchester City captain Kyle Walker leaving the team to join AC Milan on loan for 5 million dollars.
Next for the transfer window, Kvaratskhelia, Diego Carlos and Karim Adeyemi make their moves to new teams. Khvicha Kvaratskelia moves from Napoli to Paris Saint German for 61 million dollars and will stay there for 4 years. Then Diego Carlos, a decent center back in the Premier League made a move to Fenerbahce for a 3 and a half year deal. Lastly for the main transfer, Karim Adeyemi will soon go to Napoli if negotiations go right.
Last but not least are players who will go to different teams on loan and other conditions. Anthony, argued to be the greatest player of all time, will move to Real Betis from Manchester United for a 2 million dollar deal for the rest of the season. Bojan J, a Manchester United fan, did not like Anthony at all and told us why. “I am a fan of Manchester United and I believe that the move of Anthony to Real Beits is beneficial to the team. He was dead weight to the team and didn’t do much and the money going to his salary could have easily been used to get much better players for the team.”
Paul Pogba, who used to be an absolute star, has been announced as a free agent currently not playing for a club. Kolo Muani, a really decent player, went on loan to Juventes for 1 million dollars and will stay there for the rest of the season. Lastly, Erling Haaland, an amazing young player, has renewed his contract for 9 and a half years at Manchester city allowing him to get the spot for fifth longest contract in all of soccer history.
Overall this transfer window allowed many players to improve their skills at a new team or they could turn into an absolute flop, which only time will tell.
