Project Sekai is an anime rhythm game with six different modes: easy, normal, hard, expert, master, and appended. Append is one of the hardest modes (depending on your song choice) because you must use all your fingers for that specific mode. To unlock master, you either have to be a full combo expert or miss lower than 7. When missing a note, it deletes the whole combo you had back to 0 and makes you start over again when hitting the notes. When you get a full combo, you earn more gems and coins, and if you are a full combo expert, you unlock master.
The max level of songs is 31. You also get to pick your group. There are 6 different groups to choose from, which comes with characters in the group you pick. The group names are Leo/need, MORE MORE JUMP!. Vivid BAD SQUAD, Wonderlands x Showtime, and 25 Nightcore. The ones I recommend are MORE MORE JUMP!, and Wonderlands x Showtime.!
Whenever you play a song, you get gems, which are an amazing thing to get. You can pull characters from gacha. Gacha is a pity system that guarantees a 4-star card once a certain number of points are reached. They come out with different ones each event or they just come out in general. To buy 1 pull is 300 gems, to buy 10 pulls is 3,000 gems. When pulling a gacha, you will first see the color blue, yellow, or a colorful one. The blue one means 2 stars, yellow means 3 stars, and lastly, the colorful one means 4 stars. 3 and 4 stars are amazing pulls because you get to upgrade the character. To upgrade your character, you must reach their max level, which is 60.
Project Sekai also has stories for you to read as well! There are different ones to choose from like At This Festival Bathed in Twilight/Story, A Sad Farewell at the Curtain Call/Story, An Unmissable Spirited Affair/Story, etc. Some are sad, happy, investigative, humorous, and mysterious. You also get music cards or gems. Music cards are to buy music or get covers from a character.
There are also challenge shows and virtual shows. Challenge shows are daily activities. You pick the character you play with the most or your team leader. You get gems/coins, and there is a treasure you get to pick, which are music cards, stuff for their costumes, etc. Virtual shows are live concerts held within Project Sekai.
Project Sekai is a rhythm game that tests how fast your fingers are. It is one of the most stressful and annoying games to play. I love to play this game with my friends and tease them. Overall, it is a fun game to play and try!
