He’s using a new technique called the offside trap. One of Barca’s defenders, a young 17 year old, backs off when the attacker on the Real Madrid team makes him look offside and it works every time.
When Xavi was the manager, they didn’t win as many games. But when Xavi got sacked and Barcelona got a new manager, they started winning so many games using the offside trap, Now people say, “Don’t even celebrate because it is going to be offside.” I don’t disagree because when a team tries to score against Barcelona, most or all the time, it is offside.
If Real Madrid rearranges a way how to overcome the offside trap, they can dominate in LaLiga. The manager, Ancelotti, has to think of ideas. If he doesn’t, Real Madrid is going to slack. They spend a bunch of money on players just to lose against Barcelona. Barcelona buys players that people think are going to do nothing for the club and they become very expensive. Real Madrid has good players, but they will never match Barca’s techniques and smartness.
